Sticky Bones @ Morganfield's

What to eat at Morganfield's? We tried out Morganfield's sticky bones, or rather huge bbq pork ribs for this food review. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) Glazed with a beautiful thick and glossy sauce, their own hickory bbq sauce, smokey and rich, slightly sweet and aromatic. It married wonderfully with the 4 gigantic ribs with tons of flesh on it that fell off the bone with a light touch. Flesh was absolutely tenderlicious with deep and rich smokey flavour, caramalized on the exterior. Fat ratio was perfect, providing the needed juicy element along with meaty pleasure. Simply yummilicious. Portion was huge and filling along with the amazing quality. Having said that, they could have served it on a larger plate, taking into account it was such an enormous slab of pork ribs. Fries and coleslaw on the sides were negligible as the bbq pork ribs was already so filling. Pricing for a lite slab is at $19.90, and for what w...

4 Flavour Boneless Fried Chicken @ AHTTI Korean Restaurant

What to eat at Jurong's Vision Exchange? AHTTI Korean Restaurant on the 2nd floor was one that we tried out and had their Korean style fried chicken for this food review. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) We had their 4 fried chicken flavours in one, which consisted of their original, yang-nyeom, gan-jang and chili padi. Original was simply without any sauce coating, but the exterior was amazingly crispy, didn't felt greasy, and it's flesh was savoury and OMG juicy! Gan-jang was their salted sweet flavour coated fried chicken, which was pleasantly sweet, almost caramelizing texture, yet had an overlaying soy-liked taste. Next was their yang-nyeom sauce on their already amazing fried chicken. This was our personal favourite, which had a mild spiciness while carrying an after taste of sweetness. It had a similarly caramelizing texture on the surface while retaining its juicy and crunchy sensational experience. Finall...

Full Breakfast @ Craftsmen Specialty Coffee

Nested along the numerous joints at Holland Village, we visited Craftsmen Specialty Coffee for their full breakfast item for this food review. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) First off was their sauteed mushrooms, which tasted more like boiled mushrooms that was begging for more seasoning. Bratwurst was huge, juicy and savoury. Grilled bacon was sadly dry and tough, almost like it was killed a second time round. 2 poached eggs were beautifully done, gooey yolk enveloped by custardy whites. Sourdough was somewhat stale, with alittle fluffiness retained. Finally on the sides were the usual mundane baked beans, juicy and sweet cherry tomatoes and greens with appetizing vinaigrette. Worth nothing was their exceptional cherry and friendly service who were friendly and helpful. Portion was good, especially if its for a brunch. But at $27 a plate, it was definitely a pricey item that we will probably not return for at Craftsme...
