Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle @ Adam Road Noo Cheng Big Prawn Noodle

What to eat at Adam Road Food Centre? YumzYumz visited Noo Cheng Adam Road Big Prawn Mee, and tried out their pork ribs prawn noodles.

It was 11am on a weekday, and there was already a long queue despite social distancing and limited to 2 pax per table. Each customer was greeting warmly even though they were extremely busy.

We tried out their dry pork ribs and prawn noodles to get the best of both worlds, soup on the sides and noodles sauce mix.

For a $6 order, we got 2 chunks of tenderlicious pork ribs, which fell right off its soft bones. Flavour was immensely infused to every crevice and fibre. There were 2 slices of jelly-liked pork skin, although somewhat flavourless, but it definitely provided the needed bouncy and crunchy texture.

Next was their prawns, 5 halved prawns, undevein, flesh sticking to the shells.

Noodles were nicely blanched, with a intense sauce mix to go along, mildly sweet yet spicy, carrying with it a nice savoury aftertaste.

Finally, its soup was deep and intense, worthy for any prawn noodles fan to indulge in. Unlike some stalls that adds tons of rock sugar to artificially sweeten their soup, Noo Cheng Big Prawn Noodle soup tasted authentically prawny and yummilicious.

Thinking of what to eat at Adam Road Food Centre? Do try out Noo Cheng Big Prawn Noodle.

Hunan Pork Belly at Xiang Xiang Hunan: Crunchy, Spicy, and Lip-Smacking Good

You know a dish is that good when you keep coming back for it. And that’s exactly what happened on our third visit to Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine 湘香湖南菜 —this time at AMK Hub. We already had high expectations from our past experiences, but once again, their Hunan pork belly blew us away. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) What Makes This Hunan Pork Belly Stand Out? First off, let’s talk about the star of the show: their Hunan stir fry pork , made with a heavenly combo of Iberico pork belly and lean pork. It’s a dish that really brings out the spirit of Hunan cooking—bold, fragrant, slightly spicy, and loaded with green pepper aromatics. The pork belly is wonderfully fatty and tender, with that unmistakable richness that Iberico pork is known for. The lean pork adds a nice balance so it doesn’t get overly unctuous. And then there's the rabbit ear fungus. Yes, rabbit ear fungus—also known as Mu Er or Yunnan black fungus . It...

A cozy little restaurant stall tucked in the basement, it promises authentic Korean noodles and hearty comfort food that feels straight out of a Seoul street market. We visited over the weekend for dinner and decided to go big. Two combo sets—Combo A and Combo B—meant we could try six different dishes, including their famous bibim noodles , which definitely deserved the spotlight. At $16.50 ala carte (but included in Combo B), it’s a hearty bowl topped with sliced beef, kimchi, and egg garnish , all nestled over freshly made noodles.
