Unleash Your Inner Cowboy at Wow Wow West with Their Authentic Chicken Chop

Craving for a good chicken chop or thinking of where to get one of the best chicken chop in Singapore? Head down to ABC Brickworks like us for Wow Wow West's chicken chop for this food review.

Its skin was marvelously grilled to a perfect caramelized state, crispy and oozing with yummilicious juice. Dozed on it was a good pour of their brown sauce, elevating the flavour of the chicken skin. Its flesh was thick and juicy, tender and mouthful. Unlike some other stalls where the chicken is pulverized to a thin sheet, Wow Wow West's chicken chop offers chunky and succulent chicken chop, with richly infused flavours deep into its flesh. The friendly boss even walks around the stall area to top up the brown sauce for anyone who wants more. Thats what service is all about. ^^ The sides were the usual chunky fries, baked beans and appetizing coleslaw. Its portion was huge, larger than palm size, and reasonably priced at $7 a plate.

Wow Wow West's chicken chop is undoubtedly irresistible and tremendously satisfying, recommended for all to try.

Hunan Pork Belly at Xiang Xiang Hunan: Crunchy, Spicy, and Lip-Smacking Good

You know a dish is that good when you keep coming back for it. And that’s exactly what happened on our third visit to Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine 湘香湖南菜 —this time at AMK Hub. We already had high expectations from our past experiences, but once again, their Hunan pork belly blew us away. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) What Makes This Hunan Pork Belly Stand Out? First off, let’s talk about the star of the show: their Hunan stir fry pork , made with a heavenly combo of Iberico pork belly and lean pork. It’s a dish that really brings out the spirit of Hunan cooking—bold, fragrant, slightly spicy, and loaded with green pepper aromatics. The pork belly is wonderfully fatty and tender, with that unmistakable richness that Iberico pork is known for. The lean pork adds a nice balance so it doesn’t get overly unctuous. And then there's the rabbit ear fungus. Yes, rabbit ear fungus—also known as Mu Er or Yunnan black fungus . It...

A cozy little restaurant stall tucked in the basement, it promises authentic Korean noodles and hearty comfort food that feels straight out of a Seoul street market. We visited over the weekend for dinner and decided to go big. Two combo sets—Combo A and Combo B—meant we could try six different dishes, including their famous bibim noodles , which definitely deserved the spotlight. At $16.50 ala carte (but included in Combo B), it’s a hearty bowl topped with sliced beef, kimchi, and egg garnish , all nestled over freshly made noodles. What stood out immediately was the chewy, spr...
