No.25 Minced Meat Noodle: A Must-Try Bak Chor Mee at One Punggol with Fluffy Minced Pork and Irresistible Soup

No.25 Minced Meat Noodle at One Punggol is a must-visit for anyone on the hunt for delicious bak chor mee (BCM) in Punggol. Despite the long queue during lunch time, we couldn't resist trying out this popular spot for our bak chor mee food review.

As soon as we arrived, we noticed the unique name of the stall and the different sizes of their signature item, starting at $8, $10, and $12. We opted for the $8 size and were not disappointed. The minced pork was fluffy and flavorful, while the ti poh (fried flat fish) added a crispy, crunchy texture. The fried pork lard was another standout ingredient, providing a fluffy, delectable taste to the dish. The well-blanched mee pok noodles and effusive sauce mix were blended perfectly, creating a dynamic and rich flavor with different textures that melded together beautifully.

Awesome Minced Meat Noodle Soup

One thing that really stood out about No.25 Minced Meat Noodle was their soup. It was simply gorgeous - deep, rich, and full of flavor. It had a heavy taste of pork liver and a subtle sweetness that made it all the more irresistible. The sliced pork liver was soft and delicate, while the well-marinated sliced pork was tender and tasty. The fuzhou fishball was also bursting with flavor and juice, with a bouncy, springy texture that you can't get from factory-made meatballs.

While slightly pricey, you're definitely getting your money's worth with the laboriously made hawker food that's served up at No.25 Minced Meat Noodle. The quality of the ingredients and the quantity of food you receive are both top-notch. As we queued up, the tantalizing aroma of the food wafting from the stall made us all the more hungry, but thankfully, the friendly and efficient service made the wait more bearable.

Overall, we highly recommend No.25 Minced Meat Noodle at One Punggol for any BCM fans looking for a satisfying meal that will whet your appetite. Despite the long queue, the delicious food and excellent service make it well worth the wait.

Hooi Kee’s Hong Kong Style Roasted Char Siew and Roasted Chicken Rice: A Decent Meal?

Looking for what to eat in Ang Mo Kio, we got ourselves a simple order of char siew rice with roasted chicken for this round of chicken rice food review. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) Char siew pieces were fatty and lean, a good ratio combination, with the fats roasted to a melt in your mouth consistency. We loved the gravy that drizzled onto the charred and caramelized parts, which elevated its taste and flavour. Coupled with the tenderlicious roasted chicken, which was soft and juicy even for their breast meat. Skin was crisp and tasted lovely with their briny sauce. Rice was fragrant and not greasy, and somewhat addictive together with the char siew gravy and chicken sauce. Chili was mundane, runny and spicy, complimenting the rice and chicken perfectly. @yumzyumzsg Hooi Kee Hong Kong Style Roasted - Roasted Chicken Rice with Char Siew Visit YumzYumz.com for their food review. #sgfood #foodlover #foodreview #f...

Hunan Pork Belly at Xiang Xiang Hunan: Crunchy, Spicy, and Lip-Smacking Good

You know a dish is that good when you keep coming back for it. And that’s exactly what happened on our third visit to Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine 湘香湖南菜 —this time at AMK Hub. We already had high expectations from our past experiences, but once again, their Hunan pork belly blew us away. View this post on Instagram A post shared by YumzYumz.com (@yumzyumzsg) What Makes This Hunan Pork Belly Stand Out? First off, let’s talk about the star of the show: their Hunan stir fry pork , made with a heavenly combo of Iberico pork belly and lean pork. It’s a dish that really brings out the spirit of Hunan cooking—bold, fragrant, slightly spicy, and loaded with green pepper aromatics. The pork belly is wonderfully fatty and tender, with that unmistakable richness that Iberico pork is known for. The lean pork adds a nice balance so it doesn’t get overly unctuous. And then there's the rabbit ear fungus. Yes, rabbit ear fungus—also known as Mu Er or Yunnan black fungus . It...
